[NCUC-DISCUSS] Reminder Fwd: NCUC Elections - Nominations period starts Monday (3 Sept)!

[David Cake]

This nomination places me in an unusual position, as I am currently an office holder in NPOC, and the terms would significantly overlap. And this nomination came as something of a surprise.

In general, I think there are many positives, I very much believe the two constituencies need to learn to work in a complementary fashion, and there should be more cross-membership and coordination. But I acknowledge that may not be a universal position, and there are other issues to consider.
I’ve come to the conclusion that there are some people who are keen for me to run for good reasons, and I should let the voters decide.
