This is just a reminder that the nominations period of NCUC elections
started today and nominations will be accepted until sep. 17th.

The available positions are:
*NCUC Chair* - vacant (*Renata r**esigned Aug 29 and is not running again*)

*EC Africa*  - Ines Hfaiedh (*eligible for another term*)
*EC Asia Pacific* - Elsa Saade (*not running again*)
*EC Europe* - Louise Marie Hurel (*eligible for another term*)
*EC **Latin America and the Caribbean* - Bruna Santos (*eligible for
another term*)
*EC North America* - Michael Karanicolas  (*eligible for another term*)

All nominated candidates have *until 18 sep. to* *accept their nominations
and, in that case they should submit their candidate statements until 19
Sep.*

Dear all,

We have initiated our elections period, and as per the timeline below, our
nomination period starts next monday, 03 September.

17 Aug Check in begins

03 Sep Nomination period begins

17 Sep Nomination period ends

18 Sep Deadline for nomination acceptance

19 Sep Deadline for candidate statements

19 Sep Check in ends

20/21 Sep Candidate Call

24 Sep Voting begins

08 Oct Voting ends

09 Oct Results announced

Until monday we  will be concluding checkin to with some of the recently
joined members who were not able to check in for NCSG elections but are
eligible for check in now (as some may have the 30 day minimum membership
time since joining the Stakeholder Group).

As a reminder, *starting monday until 17 september* *you will be able to
nominate candidates for NCUC Chair and NCUC EC regional representatives*.
