[NCUC-DISCUSS] new focal point on underserved regions

Hi Renata, all-

This sounds interesting, and I am trying to understand what the role for this focal point would be.

>From what I understand, NCUC focal points are subject matter experts who can field questions from new and experienced members on a topic. Other focal points include Kathy Kleiman for rights protection mechanisms, Dr Stephanie Perrin for data protection, Dr Tatiana Tropina for human rights, and Dr Farzaneh Badii for jurisdictional issues. Is this the role you are looking to fill?

I’m not sure this is true; indeed, many of these workshops have been held in rural areas. The last one was in Nepal, from what I remember.
