Ah yes the ‘in parallel’ model sounds like a good opportunity I agree! Thanks for clarifying.

I share your sentiments, James and Cláudio — we’ve definitely got enough on our plate with the EPDP as is.
What I meant by “demoing” was rather test-driving the model in parallel to see how and where it fits, how much work it takes, who should be consulted within the community, whether external stakeholder consultation could factor in, etc. In my mind the EPDP is a particularly good test-case due to its shortened timeline. I’m keen to do some iterative modeling as we wait for implementation of the Human Rights Bylaw to begin in earnest.
Both the EPDP and the RPM PDP definitely have potential human rights impacts so wouldn’t be going too far out on a limb. That being said, I’m certainly open to additional suggestions for demos (provided we can muster volunteers). The more tests, the better the model!
Best regards,
Collin

I would caution against doing this during the ePDP if its expected that it will be integrated or performed by the ePDP itself.
While I understand that it is conceptually a good idea, in reality the ePDP is not the place to add new processes or constructions IMO.

Great news!!!
Now we just need to brush up our HRIA model and start demoing it on PDPs so that our walk matches our talk. I’m happy to coordinate volunteers.
Version 1.1 of the HRIA model is here: https://icannhumanrights.net/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/DRAFT-ICANN-HRIA-questionnaire-model.pdf
And background doc: https://icannhumanrights.net/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/Draft-HRIA-initial-sketch-for-PDPs-in-the-GNSO.pdf
Would anyone like to help me review it?
As far as testing it out goes, I think the RPM and E PDPs are great places to start. I’m an EPDP alternate so I’m well placed to kick that off. Is there anyone in or familiar with the RPM group who could help test the model there?
Thanks, and congrats!
