Dear friends, Brace yourselves, because we’ve got big news ahead! With tons
of excitement, here are your IFF updates for the week of September 25-29.
For the past few months, we’ve been working hard to develop a new and
easier platform that manages the registrations, proposals and program.
We’ve listened to your feedback and are ready to share the IFF Community
Platform with the world! Now you will be able to:
+ Register to attend the IFF + Submit session proposals to the IFF + Apply
to the Diversity and Inclusion Fund to receive travel support for the IFF +
See the full program and schedule + Leave your session comments and feedback
All in one place! And that place is: platform.internetfreedomfestival.org
Of course, there’s no better way to celebrate the launch of the IFF
Community Platform than to:
*** Open Registrations and Call for Proposals for the IFF 2018! ***
You probably know that spots for the IFF fill up quickly. We want you to be
there, so please register ASAP!
Not sure how? We’ve got you covered in six easy steps:
Go to platform.internetfreedomfestival.org
Create an account with your email and a chosen password
Go to your inbox. Click on the email from ‘platform,’ and click the link to
confirm your registration
A new page will open. Fill out your personal information
Once submitted, you will NOT get a confirmation email. Instead, a
confirmation message will appear at the top of the screen that says that
you’ve successfully registered.
Do a lil’ dance in your seat, because you’re registered!
We also want to hear your ideas for sessions. After all, the IFF is created
by you! To propose a session:
Go to platform.internetfreedomfestival.org
Log in and click ‘Submit a new proposal’
Read all of the prerequisite info before writing your session proposal
Fill in all the things
Hit ‘create proposal.’ Your homepage will now show your list of proposals
