[NCUC-DISCUSS] [Ncuc-af] ICANN61 NextGen Application now open

Hi all,

Just a small comment, from someone who had the privilege of serving on the selection committee for the NextGen at ICANN programme three times — applicants from outside the meeting region are not sent on to the selection committee, and are filtered out by ICANN staff. It is a prerequisite for this programme that the candidate be resident in the region of the ICANN meeting. If you are outside the region my humble suggestion would be to apply for the fellowship programme instead, which has no residency / region requirements. Good luck!
