Hi all,

Just following up on Farzaneh's email below.

If you are looking to become more involved in our policy work but don't know where to begin, I encourage you to participate in this pilot programme.

Once a week, for seven weeks, you will receive a helpful email in your inbox introducing you to how policy is set at ICANN, how and why to become involved in working groups, and sharing with you some other tips on how you can make an impact.

There is also a separate channel where you can ask questions and receive answers.

This resource is only available in English for now, but I have spoken with Betsy Andrews from ICANN staff and she is kindly arranging translation for us. I will let you know once the materials are translated into other languages.

As Farzaneh mentioned, newcomers from March onwards have been automatically enrolled into this programme, but if you joined before then just send Maryam an email and you too can be subscribed. Similarly, please let Maryam know if you don't receive a first email next week and she can investigate.

It was a great privilege working with Kathy and Louise to develop this content, and we warmly welcome your suggested edits or improvements off-list.

Best wishes,

Ayden FĂ©rdeline

> Dear All,
>
> ICANN started an onboarding program in order to facilitate the integration of newcomers and those who want to get engaged more with ICANN policy making processes. On behalf of NCUC, Louise, Ayden and Kathy participated in the program and developed material about how to get involved with NCUC and what NCUC does at ICANN.
>
> The materials are now finalized and approved by NCUC EC so we can start operationalizing the onboarding program.
>
> We will start sending the materials to the new NCUC members (those who have joined us since March). This does not mean others cannot participate in the program if you would like to be sent the materials and have joined NCUC before March, please send your request to Maryam Bakosh Maryam Bakoshi <maryam.bakoshi at icann.org> and I before Friday 15 September.
