Hi all,

I have deleted the name of the sender from this email because I have not asked permission to forward it along, though they are welcome to identify themselves if they wish of course :-), but I think this is one reason why we need to be careful of mission creep. ICANN commissioning just one report today with zero relevance to the DNS does set a precedent for future actions by the community and by the organisation. Food for thought...
