[NCUC-DISCUSS] Call for applications: IGF Travel Support

Dear All,



The executive committee decided to allocate the three travel supports
approved in the Additional Budget Requests to those who drafted and
submitted the proposals namely: Ayden Ferdeline, Tatiana Tropina and me.

It was decided to allocate two more travel slots for IGF 2017 to the
members to carry out outreach:


A. CROP travel slot: (only 3 nights and 4 days covered)

- Priority given BUT NOT NECESSARILY to workshop panelists to encourage
professional development + send link of selected workshop
- Active NCUC member (mailing list, working groups, drafting materials etc.)
- Plans at the IGF for outreach/volunteering
- Enough knowledge about what NCUC does and how ICANN works to hold the
booth at IGFand explain issues  to the visitors (in your statement you need
to add a paragraph in your own words on what NCUC does at ICANN)


  B. NCUC Fellowship to the IGF (up to 2000 Dollars):

-  workshop panelists to encourage professional development +
send link of selected workshop.
- Priority given but NOT NECESSARILY to candidates FROM THE IGF2017 REGION
to maximise the NUMBER OF BENEFICIARIES.
- Priority given BUT NOT NECESSARILY to PARTIAL FUNDING: Airfare
only, hotel only, bus, train etc. to maximise the NUMBER OF BENEFICIARIES.
- Active NCUC member (mailing list, working groups, drafting materials etc.)
- Plans at the IGF for NCUC outreach/volunteering
- Enough knowledge about what NCUC does and how ICANN works to hold the
booth at IGFand explain issues  to the visitors (in your statement you need
to add a paragraph in your own words on what NCUC does at ICANN)


*Please apply by 16 October 2017*. You can send your application (statement
of interest, laying out your outreach plans for NCUC, your activities in
various WGs and the workshops you will take part in and how much funding
you need) to  Maryam Bakoshi <maryam.bakoshi at icann.org> and me.
