Hi

I never had to explain a facepalm before but: shows surprise or shock
for something which is not easily understood or which encourages
seeking out more information.

So, yes, the number is shocking.

But more shocking would be the "breakdown" announced if the delay
hadn't happened.

There is, though, a need for more information than just big numbers
slapped around - which are great for marketing purposes but not so
great for reassuring a next process will be smooth.

So the perfect opportunity to get this explanation sounds like the
