Hi Naveed,
unfortunately your information is no longer accurate.
The obligatory Facebook requirement is very clear, as stated by Siranush
Vardanyan, Fellowship Program Manager. Please read his public response
to the fellowship list attached earlier.
I am sorry to hear the situation has apparently changed since the last
year. The relaxed considerate approach you described is much better
suited for diverse applicants than the present one.
That said, I am very grateful to receive my first technical ICANN
fellowship and looking forward to meeting the fellowship family.
