Thanks Ayden, for explaining the difference of the two pilot program. In
fact I didn't know about the externally funded program.
I second both Farzi, Ayden and Arsène to investigate into the externally
research oriented pilot program as per Farzi's comments.
Wishing you a happy holidays and catch up with you after the new year.

Thanks for clarifying, Ayden. I was actually confusing both programs.

So to sum up (with my comment in bold),
1. The pilot community onboarding programme is working to provide new
volunteer talent with a faster entrance into the ICANN community, and is
being developed internally. *How far are we with this one*?* We may need to
speed up this as well because new members are being added regularly and
there is no time to waste.*

2. This programme, administered externally by WBC Global, is intended to
support our involvement in ICANN’s various policy development processes.

*I think this is the one Farzi was talking about, which is starting next
year? i agree with you, Ayden that we need to take advantage of it and be
cautious about what we can take or not.*

*Thanks for providing more clarity and/or updates.*
