[NCUC-DISCUSS] Selection results for CROPP : NCUC outreach

Hi everyone,

I am happy to share on behalf the NCUC executive committee the result of
selection for CROPP (Community Regional Outreach Pilot Program) and
allocating the 4 travel slots we have to attend relevant conferences and
doing outreach activities.

I would like to thank all those who made effort and submitted proposals.
Having such number of proposals made the selection more competitive and in
many times hard. We reviewed all proposals, in particular the plan to
conduct NCUC outreach activities and their effectiveness. I will be happy
to give feedback to all applicants regarding their proposals.

So we are allocating the slots to:

1. APC to attend African Internet Summit
2. Ayden Ferdeline to attend WSIS forum
3. Renata Ribeiro to attend CSISAC Forum & OECD Ministerial Conference
4. Aarti Bhavana to attend Asia Pacific Regional IGF

We will also give some support to  Tatiana Tropina to attend SEEDIG and
Karel Douglas to attend CIVICUS conference.

the NCUC EC will work closely with those selected to refine their plans and
coordinate with them and ICANN staff when needed. We are going to start the
admin work with ICANN staff quickly since some events are quite close .
