João has already served in the NCUC EC this year (2015). As a marketing professional and experienced community manager, he is working to improve internal communications and support to new NCUC members. Serving one more year on the NCUC EC would allow him to translate into practice his many ideas for improvement.

João is very well connected with many activists and organizations for Brazil and LAC more in general. He is also counselor to the NETmundial Initiative, where he represents Civil Society of Latin America & Caribbean.
