Why not?

In the past I have been against this because i did not trust the ability
of staff to behave themselves and do the work in a professional manner. 
Those days are gone.  These days staff has shown a remarkable ability to
behave quite properly when helping groups do the group's work.

I think it is a pity that NCUC does not contribute statements that could
be submitted and could get the endorsement of the NCSG.  If NCUC had a
Policy Committee and had help it could contribute and help NCSG
contribute to responding to more of the open calls, the ones NCUC might
care about.

We also have a charter that has been out of date since the last decade. 
Maybe stuff help could help us find the energy to get a legitimate and
approved charter in these days of accountability and transparency.

I think it might be useful to participate in the pilot program.
