Dear all,

Thank you for welcoming Article 19 to the NCUC. We're delighted to join
you in such an interesting time.

Article 19 works in support to the Freedom of Expression worldwide,
ranging from the Right to Information to the protection of journalists,
bloggers and human rights activists.

In the digital field we have thus far been focusing on the Right to
Share, the Right to Blog and the dilemma of liability where it comes to
Internet Intermediaries, please find more info on that part of our work
here: http://www.article19.org/pages/en/ict.html

We also wrote a Roadmap for the Further Evolution of the Internet
Governance Ecosystem for NetMundial, and a longer paper on the issue.
They can be found here:

Long:

Comment or questions are very welcome either in the documents, on this
list, per e-mail or in person.

Article 19 sees the internet as a public good which is delivered through
private means, which means that transparency, accountability, oversight,
net neutrality, inclusivity, and affordable access are quintessential.
We hope to further these goals within the NCUC.

I am greatly looking forward to work with you and meet some of you in
Singapore.

Best,

Niels
