Hi

At Large's staff sent a message to those of us participating in their ATLAS conference that includes something everyone flying into London should know:

> Getting from Heathrow Airport to Central London
> The quickest = Heathrow Express.
> Ticket information: https://www.heathrowexpress.com/tickets-deals/prices-fares
> NOTE Strike Action on Heathrow Express: The strikes will take place from midday on June Thursday 19 until midday on Friday June 20, and again for 24 hours on Sunday June 22.
> A good alternative to the Heathrow Express during strike time = Heathrow Connect
> The most cost-effective = London Underground (metro/tube):
> Underground tickets are available at all stations. The single fare to central London (Zone 1) is £5.70.
> Route: Heathrow Terminals (Piccadilly Line) to Edgware Road (Bakerloo or Circle line) - see map: http://www.tfl.gov.uk/cdn/static/cms/documents/standard-tube-map.pdf
> Edgware Road Tube/Metro/Underground is situated opposite the Hotel
> All other options are listed here: http://www.heathrowairport.com/transport-and-directions/getting-into-london
> London Gatwick Airport to Central London:
> Gatwick Express: http://www.gatwickexpress.com/
> Prices: http://www.gatwickexpress.com/en/tickets-and-fares/buy-online-and-save/
> Other transport: http://www.gatwickairport.com/to-and-from/gatwick-to-london/
