Dear William Dark;
Children are the most beautiful thing we possess. Adults
have to maintain and protect them against threats. Young people and children
are frequent users of information and communication technology and the
Internet, and therefore they need to be aware of and should be kept informed of
the risks and responsibilities on the Internet. The main objective of this Propsed Workshop is to make communities in all developing countries understand protect
children from the dangers of the Internet is an important part of cyber security.
The spread of cybercrime may lead to malfunction may threaten the whole of
society in the economy, sovereignty and national security, including requiring
protection mission and strategic sites through the use of modern techniques and
methods developed in the early detection for penetration operations so as not
to affect the community. increasing Internet crime and numerous forms and forms
not only to break into networks and sabotage or theft of information and data
only. The most important Internet crimes are Internet crimes against children,
also appeared moral crimes such as kidnapping, extortion, murder and sexual
harassment and ease of control of
children, so that the offender make kids give him their personal and family
data spontaneously and others.
I had presentation titled Protect The Children From the Dangers of the Internet in African Internet Governance forum in Nairobi, Kenya. I organized two workshops titled workshop titled Online Child Protection in the Arab Region: Studies and Legislation in Arab Internet Governance forum, Algeria, Algeria and The Workshop titled Protection of the Most vulnerable Children Online with the TaC - Together against Cybercrime int, in IGF, Bali.
I suggest to organize workshops in the protection of children from the dangerous of internet in the next ICANN meeting in Singapore as part of NCUC activities. Please confirm.
