As african, I am really glad to nominate Grace Githaiga from Kenya to run for the election to EC rep for Africa. I consulted her before and she agreed to run. She can bring experience from her involvement at national level in kenya, also at regional and global level.
to introduce her to our members:
"Grace Githaiga is an Associate of the Kenya ICT Action Network (KICTANet) where she coordinates a lot of the Network events that touch on policy and regulation in Internet governance matters. Currently she is the Africa's Civil Society Representative to the Working Group on Enhanced Cooperation on the Commission on Science and Technology for Development (CSTD). Prior to joining the NCUC, Grace participated in ICANN's fellowship programmes in Costa Rica and Beijing, and is a DIPLO alumni. She has vast experience in civil society engagement in both ICTs and media. "
