[NCUC-DISCUSS] Fwd: Some Durban background

I spent time in Durban and recommend two tourist spots.
One is the Durban Art Gallery that is located in City Hall.
I don't know what is the current show, but they usually have interesting
exhibitions and the city hall itself is worth seeing.  The surrounding park
is the favored locale for demonstrations.

The second is the Botanic Garden at the foot of Berea hill.
The garden is discussed in the attachment which is a lively discussion of
the history of Durban by the acerbic local critique, Ashwin Dessai.
