Hi,
Thank to Ginger, Timothe, Norbert and the other folks who have said nice things.
But _nobody_ owes me. It is the task I took on, and I kind of knew what I was letting myself in for. Well maybe not in detail or completely, but I kind of knew.
Just as whoever is thinking of running for the first popularly elected chair of the NCSG (assuming the charter passes) should know what they are letting themselves in for.
Now that is the real concern!

PS. Trains in the UK are not nearly as bad as trains in the US!!!

Anyone who didn't keep track of the charter's evolution, keep your e-mail address curent, confirm their status as an active member and/or read the list/personal e-mails needs to consider whether (s)he has discharged his/her responsibility as a member.

I know I changed mine on the website, and the listserv - and still got the checkin e-mail at an old address. I don't see why the website can't be the the one-stop place to change/drive all the lists. Or at least have a prominent article that descibes everything one needs to do to update one's e-mail address. But if you're reading the list, you should have seen the many posts about this vote weeks before the deadlines.

As the numbers Avri shared earlier today indicate:
