Mail problems happen, and it's summer, which we knew would be an issue. But a pity you're missing the charter vote; hopefully the forthcoming election vote can be different.

Everyone,

I hope the added caps in the subject line don't offend any sensibilities, but an astonishingly large number of people have not voted yet, including veteran NCUCers, designated organizational representatives, current and former elected Council members, people we've nominated or put onto working groups/review teams/Nomcom, and on and on…This is really surprising and a serious problem. As the numbers Avri shared earlier today indicate:

So a couple of years of hard work (re)drafting and (re)negotiating with successive boards are in real danger of being wasted, which will be a disaster for noncommercial interest representation in ICANN, commencing quickly.

Instead of doing another round of a few of us having to spend time trying to track members down bilaterally and send reminder pleas, can I suggest an alternative? Please be proactive. If you are on the list of Active Members https://community.icann.org/display/gnsononcomstake/Active+Members and you have not received a ballot from tally at icann.org

1. Dig around in your account, spam filters, trash, wherever
2. If you have a ballot, vote today, it takes three seconds
3. If you are really certain you did not receive the ballot, please inform us here on the list ASAP. After a few days we can compile the names and ask ICANN staff to resend it to you. They are swamped too with Dakar planning et al but hopefully they can make that happen.

Time is running out.

Thanks,

Bill
