Hi Avri,

Please send any questions you or the EC may have regarding the
perspective members to me as each organization meets (my understanding
of) the NCSG membership requirements.

Kind regards,
Amber

For this I must apologize. The NCSG-EC did put in a process for
handling it, but on several of these we got down and never reached the
unanimous approval required and got bogged down waiting for the next
step.

I have copied the NCSG-EC list on this one in the hope that we do get
this back on the track. Your applications was easy since no one had any
issues, but on the others, there were questions that needed to be
followed up that I don't think ever were.

I can't offer any explanation other than the focus has been so much on
the getting the charter through, little else has happened in the EC.

Dear Amber

In your letter your write: "As one of its major initiatives, the NPOC has placed a priority on ongoing global outreach activities, especially to communities and regions currently under-represented in ICANN. We are pleased that several organizations have already indicated an interest in the NPOC during this pendency period; however, many more are waiting for the NPOC to be officially recognized before joining."

Would it be possible to provide a list of such waiting organisations? And would it be also possible to specifiy your outreach activities in currently under-represented regions. I am in particular interested what you have done in Eastern Europa, Central Asia and Eastern and Western Africa.

Thanks

wolfgang
