Dear Hong,

In London, remote participation worked quite well but not in its full
capacity. If I remember correctly, there have been a couple of occasions
where the ICANN staff asked the panel questions from remote participants
(and at least in one of them it was simply done simply because there were no
questions from the floor), but ­ in my opinion at least ­ these questions
were not given as much attention as the ones posed live. What Kathy is
saying is correct. Your voice will be very valuable in the meeting and I
hope you get the chance to speak remotely ­ it will demonstrate to the panel
that people are willing to speak out loud (even if they are not physically
present at the meetings) against this report.
