Timely: Please provide famous "pen names" in your culture

To All:
I am still working on a draft of NCUC's response to Task Force 2 on the
concerns/uses of WHOIS (domain name registration) data.  Again, I ask your help.
In many cultures and histories, there is a history of political and personal
writings that take place under "pen names" -- pseudonyms that conceal the true
identity of the writer (often so that people will focus on the message and not
the writer).

     In the US, we have Samuel Clemens who wrote "Tom Sawyer" and
"Huckleberry Finn" books under the pen name Mark Twain.  And James Madison who wrote the
political "Federalist Papers" under the name Publius (basically Anonymous) to
let US citizens know about the new US Constitution being drafted in 1788.

**   If there is a famous pen name -- for political or personal writings --
in your culture, could you please send it to me in the next day or two?
