Domain name giant Verisign has settled a lawsuit by Go Daddy Software over
its controversial marketing tactics. The scheme allegedly involved sending
letters to customers of the company's competitors suggesting that their
domain names would expire soon and that they should re-register through
Verisign. The terms of the settlement have not been disclosed. The firm had
already settled a similar lawsuit launched by BulkRegister.com.
