let us be clear that, try as you might, the nature and details of
milton's original posting are not at issue. rather, what's at is-
sue is the relation between an ICANN boardmember's actions, OT1H,
and ICANN's COIP, OT0H. it may be that there's no there there--or
there may be an appearance of imporopriety, or an attempted impro-
priety, or the real thing. the only way to find out is a formal in-
quiry. 

two of the three strident NCDNHC opponents of an inquiry receive 
checks from ICANN. one of them, a boardmember, came rushing out of
the gate with a blanket vindication of his board colleague, and 
has since insinuated that a hidden agenda motivates these concerns.

not that it's all that important, i would be happy to have my con-
cerns laid to rest. but i certainly won't accept your, kent's, or 
alejandro's assurances that everything is in order. and while i'm 
grateful to marc schneiders for drafting a letter to lynn, i don't 
think that's adequate. i'd like to see the NCDNHC move on this is-
sue.
