Rather than sitting around and "being disappointed," 
why don't you volunteer to serve on a particular Task force?

I take this report to say that the Adcom will appoint members to Task Forces ithout consulting the membership and without giving people a 
chance to indicate willingess to serve, or to discuss who should represent us.     I am quite disppointed in this.
