The resolution of "conflicts of interest" was passed with one sentence
added by Alejandro Pijanty. There were 14 in favor, 2 in against, 3 in
abstention.
The added sentence of bracket wrapped is as follows.

2. Any member of the NCDNHC Adcom or anyone who represents the NCDNHC on
any DNSO task force or committee should disclose potential conflicts of
interest. [ Some forms of potential conflict of interest including working
for an organization that will benefit or provide the constituency member,
a possible benefit from a given outcome of policies on which the
constituency works ] These disclosures should be available from the NCDNHC
web page.

----------------------
The resolution on protection of Domain Name Holders in registration of
domain names was slightly supported with a minor correction - inserting "4
(snip) … to protect domain name owners [against] abusive practices". Hans
Klein argued that the word of "registrars" in No. 3 and No 4 should be
taken out because registrars are introduced for promoting competition and
so ultimately helpful for consumers. But the original text was supported
by 6 while the revised version deleting "registrars" was supported by 5.
Abstention was 5.

----------------------
The resolution on .org and protection of existing domain name holders was
declined because most participants felt that all key elements of that
draft resolution have been already contained in NC task force policy
document.

YJ Park proposed to amend the original draft by taking out 2, 3, 4 and
inserting new paragraph as follows, but it was lost. It only got 4 in
favor, 9 in against, 6 in abstention. Rob Courtney argued that everybody
including Board members clearly know that the divesture of .org should be
done within this year, and so such resolution has no value.

"2. The NCDNHC asks the Board to pay attention to .org divesture in order
to ensure timely transfer from Verisign to a new registry operator in
2002."
