: Perhaps you should consider giving at least as much weight to substance as
: to form?
huh?
: So, you would be happy if an open and fair process for a group of 10,000
: had only one person show up to do the voting?
No. I guess that would be too low. What is the percentage of registered
voters in your town who show up for school board elections?
: Let's see. You want to penalize Kent for being active and actually doing
: necessary work?
Penalize Kent? I don't follow. I appreciate Kent's willingness to
discuss ICANN's work on these lists, and wish more ICANN staff and board
would do so. I'm glad he helped with DNSO run vote on the GA rebid motions.
: Jamie, you are paid for yourinvolvement in ICANN.
Well, not by any outside funder. We just eat the costs. But feel
free to make a contribution. Actually, I'm a bit surprised you would make
an issue of being paid for involvement in ICANN. If I was a consultant to
ICANN or a registrar or registry, that would be interesting. Dave, do you
think you can work for a registry/registrar, and still represent
non-commerical domain holders in the NCC?
Jamie
