The Names Council Thursday passed by unanimous
vote the Task Force report on policy for the 
.org divestiture. 

The final report proposes an unrestricted .org
domain that is controlled by and responsive to
noncommercial registrants. You can read it in its

This is a major victory for the policy supported
by our constituency.

The report will be posted for additional public
comment for two weeks.
