This is pure amerICANNism gem (American language and your vision of the
ICANN). The word governance (BTW a French XIIIth century word) is to
consensus what commanding is to bodies and management is to organizations.
It litterarly means the "house keeper business" as it is related to
communittee life, the first natural communittee being the familly, the
house. Belgium - the current EEC Chair - has published a White Book on the
matter and wants to make its analysis the next European workshop after the
euro. I doubt you can address it in a short comment like yours.
I don't think there is any problem with Kent staying and voting in the
NCDNHC as long as he makes a clear difference between his positions when
co-making decisions and when carrying them. And as long he is treated equal
to the others what means others are treated equal to him what is not the
case as long as I am concerned.
Should I have to be hired by Stuart to for the Frax to be treated equal to
the Potter Yacht Club?
I only hope that this new postion of Kent will make that question and the
one of its equal and fair application addressed quickly.

Is that why he has been hired by the ICANN? Is that to oppose or to be sure
to be fully consensual?
