[ncdnhc-discuss] DNSO Board election, NCC support who?

It was not a "9" demand. But, I was referring to the "issue of 9 AL board
members" (or some number large enough - probably 1/2) to make a difference
on the ICANN board.

Regarding a staff line having a board seat....I am familiar with boards were
staff lines have a seat and configurations where they do not. I think I am
most comfortable with the staff member having an advisory role to the board
at this time, and not a seat. I have to give this more thought, but
remember, this is not a commercial organization where the CEO may have
financial interest in the success of the enterprise.

Dear Michael,
I am surprised of this absolute "9" demand.
IMHO the correct position is half to SOs/half to @large plus 1 to Staff.
There is a proposition for 6 to SOs, 5 to ccTLD, 9 to @large and 1 to Staff.
Do you support that?
