Lawmakers in the United States are considering whether to create a kids
subdivision within the .us country-code top-level domain (.kids.us). These
discussions come just as a U.S. Congressional subcommittee is scheduled to
hold a hearing on Thursday, November 1, 2001 regarding a Dot Kids Domain
Name Act.
