Yes, Jefsey is right here. Once you concede that alternate
roots are merely ADDING TLDs to the ICANN root, two 
conclusions follow logically:

1. It strengthens my argument that alternative TLDs
are trying to supplement, not replace, the ICANN root
because of ICANN's too-slow and too-costly approach
to the addition of new TLDs.

2. It refutes the arguments of Crispin, cited in Lynn's
illegitimate "ICP-3," that competition from these sorts
of roots leads to wholesale conflicts in name assignments.
Crispin's argument assumes that alternate roots are
completely uncoordinated with the ICANN root.

I am glad you eventually acknowledge that "alternative (sic) roots" are 
value added roots. This kills half of ICP-3 and most of the objections to 
the so-called "alternative" roots. No risk to go where you do not want to 
go - the archi used stupid argument against "alt.roots" - except when Vint 
creates a collider.
