[Ncuc-ap] Opportunity: Google for Education

Hi Zakir,

CROP proposals are selected by the EC to conduct outreach inside a
region. There
were 5 CROP slots for FY18, one had the possibility to be out of region.

We have 5 regions: LAC, AP, AF, EU, NA.
CROPS inregion were received for LAC, AF, EU, NA (1 CROP Out of region was
received)

So we have had no candidates for CROP AP this year.

CROP proposal is granted only when approved by EC. That can happen soon to
the before mentioned candidates.

As you know there is a budget comment going on and CROP is at risk. However,
there will be other opportunities for events in AP and NCUC will share them
with members.

Fundraised and sponsored opportunities are always a challenge to civil society
but we work hard to always find ways to help our members participate more.

Thanks,

Elsa
