Hi members,
ICANN is currently gathering community input and comment on a process of
streamlining organizational reviews, this presents an opportunity to inform
review processes and scopes within which ICANN conducts its reviews to deal
with potential and perceived internal politics and enhance accountability
and transparency amongst other things at the board, organizational and
community level.
Now, below is a set of questions that need your input so that these can be
integrated into the community comment, I am currently working on this
community (NCSG) comment with Stephanie and anyone can join in if
interested.
*1. Do you/your organization agree with the proposed list of issues that
should form the focus of the streamlining process? If not, with which do
you disagree and what would you like to add?*
*2. Do you/your organization agree with the proposed underlying principles
that should guide the solutions? If not, with which do you disagree and
what would you like to add?*
*3. Do you/your organization agree with the community role in the
streamlining process? If not, what would you propose?*
*4. Do you/your organization agree with the proposed high-level timeline?
If not, what would you propose?*
This is another opportunity for members to start being active, if anyone is
interested in joining these efforts, please let me know, besides that, feel
free to provide comment via this mail threat.

for the base/discussion document, this is one of the simplest public
comment to participate in, because it is simple and not complicated like
other public comments and it deals with internal processes and how they can
be made effective and effiecient to cover a lot of community issues as
there has been some discomfort regarding the review methodology and purpose
not being thorough enough. Looking forward to your input by 15 June
lastest, thanks.
Thato Mfikwe.
