Yes I think you can do this, while the team initially saw some traffic, it became clear that we weren’t going to have broadly participatory fundraising/budgeting effort and that it’s sufficient for the EC to manage these decisions on an open archive listserv.  Fact is fundraising falls in the chairs’ lap and expenditures have to be approved by the EC anyway, so probably this vehicle really wasn’t going to fly.
