[NCUC E-team] on membership

Thanks Rafik. MIne is in no way a criticism of the process, but a reaction to the mails I (and other people I am sure) got concerning "why is it taking so long". I suppose the length of the process is an indication that it is serious business, but people need to be told.

Hi Stefania,

yes the process was long previously but it is getting shorter issue. we are still working on that. the other issue is the back and forth for applicants from whom we need more info.
For application review, we are trying to do the review once per month and keep such frequency to shrink the backlog.
The form and page in ncsg space will be updated to avoid misunderstanding for applicants and asking some questions to speed up the review. I also put my mail address for contact there too, if applicant want to send inquiry.
adding any info at ncuc page will be helpful for sure.

Rafik

Dear all

this is a quick email concerning our http://www.ncuc.org/participate/become-a-member/ page.

I am encouraging people to apply, but then they get back to me worried because the process takes long.

Shall we add a sentence in the page above with a indication of the possible time frame for this? And maybe the fact that the new applications might be contacted for further info?? Does it make any sense? Remember that most of the newcomers are not familiar with the process, nor with the NCSG/NCUC relations.. the NCSG page does not give any indication of the time frame nor process.

My two cents, Stefania
