These are now done.

The front page pictures should be updated:
* Beijing is already in the past, substitute picture of Durban;
* the map with member counts is out of date. It shouldn't be too hard
to update it dynamically from the member database; I'm working on that.

Wilson promised to take the lead on this. Any progress?

No progress here. We really need people of substance here;
once we have some volunteers we could simply give them
accounts with editing privileges and ask them to add
stuff whenever they can.

I asked for Carlos to send his picture, will add it there when I get it.
I've also fixed some links and typos on some pages.

This should be also done to reflect the lists contents
automatically. Shouldn't be too hard.

I'm beginning to fear we won't get members' pages moved
over in time. If so, we could try leaving Ning for a while
under a different url (just ncuc.ning.org or whatever).

I'll take a look at this soon. The only problem
I can see is authentication and integration with
member data, but we can start by either leaving it open
or limiting to site editors.
In any case it isn't particularly urgent,
being a new feature to begin with.

I still think we should. It will take some effort, however.

I won't even try to get started with CiviCRM before Durban.
I may do some work the member database but nothing radical.

Good.

Any progress on that?
