Great! I added you two as wp administrators, you should've received
confirmation messages with initial passwords - please let me know
if you didn't or if they don't seem to work.

Anybody else who wants WP login now, just let me know,
also whether you want to be admin or editor or author
(admin can do anything, editor can edit content including
other's posts, author can post and edit their own posts, cf.
https://codex.wordpress.org/Roles_and_Capabilities).

Brenden and Sarah can of course also add new users now.

It would be nice, yes. For starters it might be worth trying
if wp standard roles would be enough - that is, if we simply make
all members "authors" in wp, wouldn't it already give almost same
capabilities they've got in Ning now?

All of the membership plugins I've looked at are seem to be
designed so they can be applied on top of existing standard roles,
so migrating users over with standard roles first should cause
no extra work, unless there's something users have in Ning that'd be
needed immediately and should be migrated over rather than being added
back later.

Even better! We just might get the new site up and be able to
kill off Ning before Beijing. :-)

It sounds good, will have to put near the top of the list of tools to
try as soon as we have such a list on the new site. :-)
