hi,
A few notes
- We do needs Ken's help, not to edit but for general guidance and
help with tips and tricks. And a few other one off tasks, example,
removing all the redundant ncuc duplicate pages and putting the
content in one place.
- Quoting his paragraph below
"While the Wiki can serve multiple purposes effectively, it was
designed for and is best suited to collaboration. One option you might
consider is to
keep your NCUC website - for push content - and utilize the Wiki as a
workspace where NCUC members can share ideas, develop drafts, and
otherwise perfect statements and positions that will ultimately be
hosted on new.ncuc.org. In that scenario, the Wiki could, at the top,
refer visitors
to the formal website for all semi-permanent information about NCUC
(About Us, Governance, Membership, Participation, et al.); whereas,
the Wiki site would contain only structures/headings related to
collaboration topics and functions (e.g., Public Comments, Policy
Development)."
He doesn't seem to imply that we should always consider the confluence
as the official place, and being the official confluence person, am
leaning to believing him (and taking his advice). Not sure where we
got that impression (of confluence being the official
website)..perhaps because it's was setup by ICANN?
Regards,
Wilson
