Rafik to send an email to the mailing list with adjusted timeline for bylaws change process and draft announcement about the process. However, Rafik to first send the draft announcement to NCUC EC for review and approval


The NCUC Executive Committee met August 19 2016 to consider the problem of Peter Green's eligibility for the EC. Peter Green was informed of the meeting and specifically invited to attend by the Chair, but did not attend. After considering the issue, the EC decided to: 1) Draft a public letter expressing our appreciation for Peter's prior work for the constituency but explaining that his employer's membership in the Registry SG makes him ineligible for a leadership role in NCUC 2) Suspend Peter Green from the EC and rule that he is not eligible to run in the next election 3) Await a statement from the Ombudsman, whose decision will be seriously considered. The EC unanimously decided.
