Dear Volker Greimann,
I hope this email finds you well.
I am writing to you on behalf of the Non-Commercial Users Constituency
(NCUC), as the Executive Committee representative of the LAC region, to
invite you to speak at our upcoming webinar, titled "From Policy to
Practice: How DNS Abuse Mitigation Impacts Civil Society and End Users".
*Webinar Details: (i) Date: February 15, 2026; (ii) Time: 15:00 UTC; (iii)
Duration: 80 minutes*
The webinar aims to examine the practical impacts of DNS abuse mitigation
on civil society and end users, specifically looking at how enforcement
measures function in real-world contexts and whether existing frameworks
safeguard due process and human rights. This session will provide a
platform to bridge the gap between policy and implementation and to elevate
perspectives from diverse regions.
We are particularly interested in a perspective that can address: (i)
Current actions and strategies Registrars are undertaking regarding DNS
abuse mitigation; (ii) If possible, the relationship between human rights
and DNS abuse enforcement, especially regarding due process, freedom of
speech and privacy; (iii) Concrete examples of issues Registrars face when
dealing with requests to act, from third parties, regarding DNS abuse.
If you are interested and can accept the invitation, we can provide more
details about the webinar, such as info about other speakers.
Best regards,
Cordially,
*Pedro de Perdigão Lana*
