[NCUC-EC] Subject: NCUC Media and Communications Working Team

Dear All,

As part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen communication, engagement, and
influence within the ICANN ecosystem, we are pleased to announce the
approval of the following individuals who submitted their names to join the
NCUC Media and Communications Working Team. Their membership has been
approved by the Executive Committee (EC):

   1. Adarsh Bu – India
   2. Theorose Elikplim – Africa / North America
   3. Aji Fama Jobe – Africa
   4. Remmy Nweke – Africa
   5. Angie Orejuela – North America
   6. Emmanuel Nnaemeka Vitus – Africa
   7. Dr. Kossi Amessinou – Africa
   8. Godsway Kubi – Africa
   9. Mohammad Atif – Africa

This team will be tasked with developing a media and communications
strategy aimed at enhancing NCUC’s visibility both within ICANN and on the
global stage. Furthermore, they will play a pivotal role in implementing
media and communication plans that will amplify NCUC’s presence, outreach,
and impact on policy and internet governance discussions.

The team is expected to deliver a draft of the media and communications
strategy by May 15, 2025, for review by the EC. The draft will then be
shared with members for comments, followed by finalization and adoption
during the members' session at ICANN 83.

The working team will be led by Amin Hacha and Sara Ali, both members of
the NCUC EC. Further information will be communicated by the team leads.
