Hi Wisdom!
Thanks for the reminder. Just added my considerations, and incorporated the
procedures suggested in the Work Plan. I think only Section XI onwards does
not have any suggestions for changes, so I believe that after next week we
can start the procedures to involve the community, listed in Section XV of
our Operating Procedures:
1. Choosing a rapporteur (which can be from the EC or external) - I'd
candidate myself to do that, but would be glad to have someone else from
the community to help this effort.
2. Creating a specific mail list to review the OP, open to members who
want to be part of the task force
3. *Asking the community if they believe another part (from Section XI
forward) should be reviewed, so as to enlarge the scope of the work.* *(this
is not formally part of the procedures, but I think it wouldn't hurt to
ask)*
4. Have at least one or two meetings about the review (the 30-day period
for the rapporteur can encompass the time of those meetings)
5. Opening a 30-day period of EC review
6. Open a 15-day period of public comment for NCUC members
7. Final EC review during a period of 15 days
First, however, I think we can format the doc to be more friendly to
reading and edits - it is a bit disformatted right now (but this is not a
problem to us in this phase) and I can't edit directly, so I wasn't able to
do that formatting effort during my comments right now.
Cordially,
*Pedro de Perdigão Lana*
