[NCUC-EC] [Ext] Re: ICANN82 NCUC Agendas

Hi all,

I’ve added some comments and suggestions to the agenda. Here are a few key
points to consider:

   1. The agenda shouldn’t be overloaded with too many items—focusing on
about 3-5 substantive items or issue areas would be more effective.
   2. I’d like some clarity on what CROP recipients typically share in
these meetings. I haven't seen any presentations from them before, but
   perhaps I missed something.
   3. As far as I know, no EC Region Rep has organized a specific event or
initiative for their region, so I don’t see much value in discussing that.
Instead, we could focus on setting three key goals for NCUC over the next
six months until the next ICANN meeting.
   4. The discussion on increasing NCUC membership feels repetitive—it
comes up in every issue forum with the same points and suggestions. I’d
suggest rephrasing it to: “Challenges with membership engagement—why aren’t
members as active as they should be? How can we engage and retain
newcomers? We attract fellows, but very few stay.”
   5. Lastly, the Q&A is crucial. If there aren’t enough questions from the
audience, we should prepare some of our own to ensure we cover key topics.

Looking forward to your thoughts!

Best,
Namra
