Hi,

I noticed the link sent was for another program and we already had a
specific text for the CROP application, so I looked for it and adapted it:

Dear NCUC Members,

I am happy to announce that the Community Regional Outreach Programme (CROP)
is available for *one (1) NCUC Member from eligible Middle East countries*
to attend ICANN81 in
* Istambul, Türkiye from 9 - 14 November 2024. *
The CROP program provides travel funding for one NCUC member to attend an
ICANN meeting within the region of the meeting. Interested community
members can learn more about CROP at:

*Expectations:* The selected candidate should be prepared to:

-         Participate in the length of the meeting provided by the funding.
-         Participate in drafting communications during the meeting to the
NCUC membership regarding the sessions attended.
-         Participate in a post-meeting membership call to describe the
outcomes/activities of the meeting.

*How to apply: *If you wish to be considered, kindly complete the online
application through the form  [INSERT GOOGLE FORM LINK]   with the
following information by *23:59 UTC/GMT Sunday, September 14.*

-         *Full Name*
-         *Contact information (e-mail)*
-         *Short statement explaining why you would like to attend ICANN81*
representing the NCUC. Include a mention of which working groups or policy
discussions you have been involved with and would like to be involved
further. If you have not been involved in policy discussions, which policy
discussion(s) will you become involved with? (please provide links to your
mailing list contributions and your record of attendance in WG meetings).
-        * How much time, effort and work will you spend studying policy
topics before, during and after the meeting?* And are you willing to stay
engaged or volunteer to mentor future NCUC members?
-         Last 2 ICANN meetings you attended (mentioning if it was virtual
or onsite participation), if applicable
-         Confirm that you are ready and attentive to all visa requirements
and other documentation to attend, should you be accepted.

APPLICATION!
