Dear EC members

Brining up the NCUC report invoice matter. Since the transfer made to the writer failed to a banking glitch (Milton send the payment but the writers bank was unable to receive it and returned it to the the sender in this case the NCUC account managed by Milton).

As per the email conversations, Milton and I thought it would be quick and easy if I settled the writers invoice due to our regular channels (my bank allows a free transfer and in my past work we have paid the writer via thay directly). For quick reconciliation, I have made the payment to writer from my account and attached is the receipt for reimbursement.

As policy, we need the EC approval for Milton to reimburse the expense to. I would be grateful if you can provide it at the earliest.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Best to get approval from NCUC EC first

Also, did the other person ever ask her bank what went wrong?

Ohkay.. maybe that’s easier. My account is in Singapore and I have received all ICANN and similar USD payments seamlessly. I won’t be physically attending the next meeting, so the above is the best bet.

And I have a free bank transfers to India as the same bank operates in India too. So that way there will be no additional costs.

If this is ohkay, I am happy to pay the writer today and then send you a fresh invoice with my bank details. Let me know if that works and what would you need from me in that case in additional to IBAN/Swift Code and account details.

Not a bad idea - but where is your bank? Or will you be in Puerto Rico and can accept a check drawn on a US bank?

Would it help if I make the payment and then just claim it as a reimbursement? To avoid this whole hassle and transfer costs all over again?
