Hello Milton.
I would think that this should be enough to go on for inviting speakers. If it changes at the last minute, then there is nothing we can do and we may lose a few speakers. But at least we can start.
But again, before we do, I would like to have a better idea of what we are asking of each invited speaker. IMO, a series of speeches is going to be boring. I’ve got some ideas that I can run by Farzaneh as she agreed to work with me on this.
We are going to need publicity and A/V and connectivity (i.e. a webcast).
Ken

Hello Ken,
I currently have a request in for Tuesday 14:00-17:00 local time, for 40 people. This is the information I received from Benjamin awhile back. The way these rooms work is that I can request a date/time/number of participants, but nothing is set in stone until a few days before the meeting. Currently this time will conflict with the Board listening session for the CEO search.
Thanks!
Kind Regards,
Andrea

Subject: [Ext] Sign-up room
Hi Andrea. As you know we are planning using a sign-up room for a special event during ICANN77.
Our problem at the moment is that since we would like to invite special guests to present at that event, and since these are people who can be difficult to schedule, having some idea of at least the day, but also the time, will be critical for this to succeed.
Is there any way we can confirm a day and time (specific location can even come later) more than a few days before the meeting, given these special circumstances?
Thanks
Ken
